The old wool town of Lavenham, famous for its Guildhall, and antique shops lies just a short drive West while Dedham, Flatford, Hadleigh, Long Melford and Clare are all market towns noted for their quintessential Suffolk charm. The heritage coastline and university city of Cambridge are well worth visiting. For those who enjoy a flutter, or simply the spectacle, Newmarket, home of horse racing is easily accessible. A wider array of attractions can be found at Colchester and Bury St Edmunds including museums, retail and culinary delights and a zoo.

Moving up the cottage style staircase to the first-floor guests will find two bedrooms located off the landing. The first, accessed via a large step up and two steps down is a wonderful king-size with en-suite shower room comprising of a shower and WC, the stripped flooring and full height ceiling create a spacious yet characterful backdrop to wake up to. The second bedroom is a double and is decorated in calming tones for a peaceful night’s rest.
Moving outside, the cottage has an enclosed garden making it ideal for pets and children to run off any excess energy. An al fresco dining spot with garden furniture, sun loungers and charcoal BBQ has been created at the end of the garden to take advantage of the wonderful far reaching views over fields and farmland. A pretty timber outbuilding offers a place to store any cycles guests may bring and there is off-road parking available adjacent to the cottage for two cars.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
