This idyllic cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing family break, with easy access to the coast, village shop, bar and a host of popular attractions, there is no shortage of things to do here.
This characterful cottage is set in the heart of the pretty village of Niton which has a shop and popular bar serving wood fired pizza. Beautiful countryside surrounds the property and is home to an abundance of picturesque villages, which make the ideal backdrop for days spent walking and cycling before taking time out to relax in one of the choices of country pubs and tea gardens. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting some of the islands many attractions, including Blackgang Chine or the secluded Steephill Cove, which can be found in the nearby seaside town of Ventnor. Ventnor itself is well worth a visit and has a great selection of independent shops and cafés, plus an attractive esplanade.
A short path runs through the courtyard to the entrance into this terraced property. On entering the cottage, you are met with the charming country style kitchen to the left. This well-equipped space has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Just next door is an inviting lounge/diner, which has a wood burner to snuggle up beside and is the perfect spot to relax in front of the TV after a day spent exploring. From the dining area a cottage style staircase rises to the first floor. Here you will find an inviting double bedroom and a bunk room, which both share the contemporary shower room with WC.
Heading outside to the front of the property brings you to a small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, the ideal space to enjoy a glass of something refreshing as the sun goes down. Roadside parking can be found throughout the village (subject to availability).
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.
