A well-appointed and stylish holiday cottage, which provides a comfortable home from home on the North Devon coast. It’s perfectly located for exploring the local beaches and attractions.
This delightful, former 1900’s coach house is set in the grounds of a former parsonage. The North Devon coast, with its popular surfing beaches, hidden coves and charming seaside towns is never far away. Keen golfers can head to the courses in Westward Ho! and Bude while walkers will be in their element with an abundance of public footpaths such as the Tarka Trail. The pretty villages of Clovelly and Bucks Mill are also worth a visit, while the traditional village of Buckland Brewer itself has a popular pub, within walking distance. Attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, The Gnome Reserve, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal.Set across split-level accommodation, you’ll head through the front door into an entrance hallway with a separate WC just off from here. The spacious kitchen/diner features a Rangemaster electric oven with a gas hob, fridge, microwave, CD/radio and a dining room table in the middle. Just off the kitchen at the bottom of a few steps there is a useful utility room with a washer/dryer, sink unit and freezer. The large, beautifully decorated lounge is accessed down a few steps from the hallway. As you enter the room you’ll spot the characterful, large stone fireplace and woodburner effect electric fire first – taking centre stage against a feature wall. This comfortable room offers a great setting for relaxed evenings and features a TV/DVD and hi-fi. There is a further sunroom with seating that looks out onto the garden. Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC and a double room with an additional twin bed and en-suite shower over bath and WC. Both bedrooms also have TVs – perfect for long lie-ins. Outside there is an enclosed garden with patio area and seating offering a lovely space for dining alfresco during the summer months.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
