The World Heritage stannery town of Tavistock is within easy reach and offers a historic pannier market, boutique shops and plenty of cafes. Head south to Plymouth which offers an array of amenities. There are plenty of great walks and cycle rides to be had in the area or visit family attractions nearby including Pennywell Farm, Southwest Segway, Woodlands family theme park and The Dartmoor Mystery Treasure Trail. The National Trust property Buckland Abbey is also a short drive from the property and well worth a visit, or head further afield to Plymouth Gin or Sharpham Vineyard for something a little different.
On entering this remarkable single-storey property you are greeted by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is the perfect back drop for catching up whilst cooking up a storm in the kitchen area. There is also hard standing space available for boats and a public slipway located a short drive from the property with access to Plymouth Sound.
