There is so much to see and do within a short drive from this property. Torquay offers a beautiful palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina, beautiful beaches and an abundance of pavement cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife. Other places well worth a visit include Dartmouth with its busy harbour, castle, upmarket shops and galleries, and Teignmouth, an attractive seaside town with a promenade, sandy beach and pier. Also, nearby are Brixham and Cockington. Amongst the many family attractions nearby are Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands Adventure Park, Dartmouth, Totnes and Exeter. Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away, offering numerous walks and beautiful, dramatic views.
On entering this comfortable accommodation, you will find yourself in the lounge where you can relax in front of the traditional wood burner (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD. Exploring further, the kitchen/diner is an attractive and elegant space. With slate floor, the kitchen is equipped with everything you might need including electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. The dining area is ideal whether you’re grabbing a snack or sitting down to a special meal. Heading upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There’s a cosy king-size with TV and en-suite shower room with WC, and a cosy twin room with en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. (Please note: the bath is slightly smaller than full size.) A selection of books, DVDs, games and children’s toys are provided.
Stepping outside you can relax in the charming courtyard area with seating and BBQ which is available between March - October. Children can play outside in the shared play area with swings and a climbing frame. The shared indoor heated swimming pool with changing and shower facilities is open all year. There’s also a shared games room with free Wi-Fi, a pool table (small charges applied), table tennis, table football and a collection of toys for younger guests. Ample parking is available.
