Bring your walking boots and your mountain bikes and head off exploring the many footpaths that leave the village, there are some fantastic dog walks from the cottage taking in the surrounding countryside. The Lindsey trail for cyclists and walkers can be joined just five miles away at Brinkhill. Nearby towns include Louth, Horncastle, Spilsby and Alford, providing an abundance of independent shops, cafes and restaurants whilst villages such as Belchford, Fulletby and Old Bollingbroke offer beautiful walks and cycle routes within The Wolds. The historic city of Lincoln with world famous cathedral and castle is an hours drive away. National Trust property Gunby Hall house and gardens are regularly open and are just over a mile away. Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has sites locally which are accessible to the public including Gibraltar Point, Snipe Dales and also several smaller sites. The beautiful beaches located at Anderby Creek and Sandilands are worth a visit.
This spacious property offers three entrances, the front door, patio doors and boot room entrance. Heading into the boot room which offers a separate cloakroom/WC, sink, coat hooks at storage cupboard. Wander through to the spacious kitchen/diner which is great for family meals and offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal such as range electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Enjoy long lazy breakfasts at the nearby dining table or take a cup of tea into the conservatory which leads off the kitchen and relax on the comfy seating overlooking the garden. There is a separate utility room with washer/dryer if the need arises. On an evening retire into the lounge with inviting reclining sofa’s and arm chair sat next to the warming wood-burner and TV/DVD, there is even an office area with desk and office chair should you need to catch up on emails during your stay. Head upstairs to find three bedrooms, a spacious king-size bedroom with TV and lovely views over the gardens with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom with marvellous views over to the coast on a clear day and a single bedroom overlooking meadow and mature trees. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.
Outside there are spacious gardens to enjoy with a patio area offering outdoor furniture, perfect for those summer evenings. There is ample off road parking for two cars and there front garden is enclosed making it great for pets.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
