Among the many places of interest to visit nearby are Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Wells, England's smallest city with its magnificent cathedral, shops and markets. Slightly further afield is Bath or Bristol for city-style shopping. Bird watching, fishing, horse riding, golf, climbing and even pot holing can be accessed locally. It is conveniently located to explore the coastline of Somerset and beaches of Brean, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare. Parking for one car is directly by the cottage, there are then six steps to the entrance.
