This property is situated in the peaceful village of Briantspuddle, one of a cluster of villages, the most famous of which is Tolpuddle, known for its important place in English history. A visit to the Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum makes for an eye-opening afternoon spent learning the full story behind the martyrs, their cause, and their legacy. Two of the area’s top attractions can be found just four miles from the property: Bovington Tank Museum, and Monkey World, a fantastic ape rescue centre. One of the big draws of the area is, of course, its impressive coastline, which lies ten miles south of the property. Whether you want to spend lazy days at the beach, hunt for fossils, try your hand at water sports, or enjoy stunning coastal walks, all of this and more can be found on the area’s beaches, which include Sandbanks, Lulworth Cove, Weymouth, and Studland Bay.
This characterful property makes a wonderful place for a restful holiday with friends or family, and guests will immediately start to feel themselves relax as soon as they open the front door onto the spacious lounge. There is a wonderfully homely feel to this space, with its deep sofas, exposed beams, and large inglenook fireplace with its open fire. There is a TV/DVD, as well as a baby grand piano, which will delight musical guests. Walking through to the kitchen, guests will find a breakfast table which seats four in the middle of the room, around which they will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. One step up from the kitchen leads to the sunny conservatory, where there is a second dining table and doors which lead out to the garden. One of the property’s bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, an attractive king-size room which overlooks the garden. There is also a shower room with WC on the ground floor, which is convenient for guests staying in the ground-floor bedroom. Upstairs, there are four further bedrooms. The first of these is a sumptuous king-size room, which makes a lovely romantic sanctuary. There are then two twin rooms, as well as a restful single room. The bathroom on this floor offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Please note, that due to the age and character of the property, there are some uneven floors and small steps.
Outside, the property benefits from a patio seating area with garden furniture, which leads up to a large lawn garden area, with plenty of space for relaxing and playing. . There is parking for three cars.
