This property is located in the coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea, a beautiful seaside town with a bustling harbour, excellent range of shops, and some fine Georgian architecture. The town’s beach is situated just over a mile from the town centre and is a fantastic stretch of sand backed by pine trees. The beach makes up a part of the stunning 25000-acre Holkham Estate at the heart of which stands the gorgeous Palladian manor of Holkham Hall. Those who wish to see the coast from a different perspective may like to take one of the boat trips from the town’s quay from where visitors can choose a tour around the harbour or a tranquil wildlife-spotting trip through the marshes.
On arrival at this property, guests can make themselves immediately at home in the comfortable lounge/diner, a spacious room which runs the full-length of the property. Towards the rear end of the room, overlooking the garden, the lounge area has two sofas from which guests can enjoy the TV/DVD in the lounge or play a game on the PS2 games console. At the opposite end of the room, the dining table sits in the window looking out over the front aspect of the property. The galley-style kitchen, meanwhile, has been finished in a contemporary style and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, coffee machine, and washing machine. Beyond the kitchen, a small hallway has two doors, one which leads out onto the garden and the other which opens into a cloakroom with WC. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The first of these is an attractive king-size room with plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a twin room, whilst the third is a peaceful single. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC.
To the rear of the property, there is a delightful garden which has a good-sized lawn as well as a patio seating area for which there is garden furniture provided. At the far end of the garden, a detached outbuilding has been set up as a fun games room which, with its darts board, pool table, table tennis table, and music system, is sure to delight teenagers and comdogitive adults. There is space to store a boat, and off-road parking available for one car with further on-street parking available locally..
