The traditional seaside resort of Swanage has much to offer, including a stunning bay with golden sandy beach, a great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs and a wide range of amusements to suit the whole family. Traditional Punch and Judy shows, crazy golf and pedaloes can all be found near to the wonderful Victorian pier, which is also a great spot for fishing. Those wishing to get active may wish to visit the local diving school or perhaps enjoy one of the many scenic coastal walks nearby. A steam railway line runs from Swanage to the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, a must see for lovers of history or simply for a relaxing trip by traditional means.
