Beautiful two-bedroom apartment within a 17th century barn conversion offering a quirky gallery feature bedroom with original stable door features that open out to the countryside beyond.

Located on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Sedbergh, and within the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you may decide to visit the picturesque village of Dent a couple of miles away. Why not explore the wonders that this area has to offer, from hiking up to the top of Helm Knott or just exploring the local area? You can try your hand at fishing in the nearby river just obtain a permit. Situated a short drive from Kendal, and further afield is Windermere with a variety of pubs, restaurants and local shops to explore. You are also positioned within easy access to Cumbria and Yorkshire.

Access to this converted barn apartment is by external steps, with the apartment covering the upper two floors of this conversion. Enter the apartment into a spacious hallway and to your left you can access the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading along the corridor and are welcomed by the light airy and spacious king-size bedroom with a corner washbasin and unspoilt views of the countryside. The lounge/kitchen/dining has a large lounge area with several sofas to choose from and a wood burner which takes centre stage making this the perfect place to relax in, forget about the outside world and snuggle up and watch the TV or DVD. This open-plan room is also enhanced by the addition of stable door features providing amazing second floor views looking over the garden, orchard and the hills in the distance. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and tumble dryer. The dining area has a farmhouse dining table is adjacent to the kitchen area and has seating for eight, great for getting together at the end of the day. On returning to the hallway you then access the additional open-plan sleeping gallery, this is full of character with wooden beams (please be aware there is restricted headspace) and has a double bed and two twin beds making it ideal for families, although it does not have a door being totally open-plan.

Outside of the property you have a shared garden area with a table and chairs, ideal for warm summer days. Stroll through the open garden area past the pond and look over towards to fields beyond. There is off-road parking for two cars.
