Bodmin Moor is in easy reach, which is great for those who enjoy walking and will marvel in the historic myths and legends, including the beast of Bodmin Moor. If you want to seek some retail therapy, Truro offers a great shopping experience as well as a cinema and Hall for Cornwall and is only a half drive away. Children will love discovering some of Cornwall’s hidden gems and great days out include the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mines, Dairyland and slightly further afield Newquay and Bude.
