This property is located in the heart of the seaside town of Whitstable in East Kent, with an excellent range of shops, pubs, and restaurants all within a short walk of the cottage’s front door. The town is, rightfully, a favourite destination for foodies and many of the restaurants and bistros pride themselves on their use of local produce, particularly the freshly caught seafood. The beach here and round the bay in nearby Tankerton, makes a lovely place to enjoy seaside strolls, but for wide sandy beaches, visitors should head to the nearby towns of Margate and Broadstairs which both offer plenty of space for playing games, swimming, and sunbathing.
The front door of this stylish property opens into the dining room, a semi-open plan room which leads past the stairs and on to the elegant lounge. There are two sofas here on which to relax, as well as a TV/DVD, iPod dock, and CD player for guests to enjoy. Moving towards the back of the cottage, guests will find the sleek, contemporary kitchen, which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The bathroom, which offers a shower-over-bath and WC is also located on the ground floor. Steep, cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor, where there are two attractive bedrooms, both of which are decorated in a chic, understated style. The first of these is a king-size room which benefits from an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom, meanwhile, is a restful twin room which can be made up as a super-king-size room on request at time of booking.
Outside, there is a fully-enclosed patio garden to the rear of the property, which is a great spot for enjoying alfresco dining. There is roadside parking available locally.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
