Once here immerse yourself in village life, vibrant at times although at an altogether slower pace. Enjoy stunning walks following the river as it meanders downstream. Visit the impressive Restormel Castle and the harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown. Just a stones’ throw away is Fowey, boasting some retaurants and individual boutiques. Slightly further afield is Charlestown featured in the Poldark series, a perfect place for lunch or relax on the quay. Attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock house.
