Pride of place in the centre of the village, a number of cafes and amenities are within walking distance. Less than 1 mile from the cottage, Osmington Bay beach is within easy reach, rewarding visitors with a large pebbly beach and blue sea. Or enjoy a stroll to the pub, located 1.5 miles away, and pour over the local menu. Further up the coast, the iconic Durdle Door is only a 10-mile drive and a must for anyone in the area, whether you are making a quick pitstop or spending the whole day.
Coming in through the front door your eye will immediately be drawn to the period stone fireplace with fantastic detailing, where a functioning wood burner now makes itself at home. Facing the lounge area, the wood burner is not only an attractive feature but a truly atmospheric addition in winter as it throws a rosy glow across the room. Flop on the sofa with one of the many books provided or inhale the hot wisps of steam from a freshly brewed cuppa. Home to a double bed, the bedroom’s huge French-style doors open up to let in a refreshing breeze as well as garden and countryside views. On the opposite side of the bedroom to the windows is the bathroom. Here, you can find a bath with overhead shower, sink and WC. The bedroom has slightly reduced height in the eaves.
