This pretty cottage, one of the oldest in Northam, and just a short distance from Northam Burrows and the two miles of sands at Westward Ho! Its large rear garden boasts a hot tub and games room.
The property is well furnished and equipped in a contemporary style, and within walking distance of the village which has a swimming pool and gym, restaurant, post office, pub and shops. A 15-minute walk takes you to the burrows and beach at Westward Ho! popular with surfers. The historical fishing village of Appledore is only a five minute drive, take the seasonal ferry over the estuary to Instow, watch the boats sail by or partake in one of the water sports or just sit with an ice-cream and watch the world go by. Other family attractions nearby include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Alternatively, just relax in the garden, fire up the BBQ, challenge the family in the games room or just lie back in the hot tub.
Stepping into this delightful property you are greeted by a comfortable lounge with wood burner and Smart TV. Adjacent to the lounge is an attractive split level dining room with quiet reading area. The spacious bathroom has a freestanding slipper bath with hand-held shower attachment and WC.
To the the rear of the cottage accessed via the kitchen or lockable gate to the side of the property is the fully enclosed and dog safe garden, with a raised lawn and decking area with private hot tub and shower along with access to a separate games room with table tennis, darts and table football and secure storage for bicycles and gas BBQ.
To the front of the cottage you have a pretty raised lawn and patio area as well as allocated off-road parking for two medium sized cars. (roadside parking and free car parking is also available nearby)
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
