This stylish couples hideaway is conveniently located close to the pretty town of Rye and nearby Camber Sands, perfect for water sports enthusiasts who wish to enjoy kite surfing or paddle boarding.
This stylish apartment is located close to the medieval town of Rye with its shops, cafes, boutique Kino cinema and restaurants. Walkers can enjoy a stroll along the Royal Military Canal, accessed via a nearby footpath, or visit the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve a must for bird watching enthusiasts. Slightly further afield is Camber Sands, seven miles of glorious sandy beach and home to the only sand dunes in East Sussex. Just along the coast is the eerie, yet beautiful Dungeness Nature Reserve with its big skies and popular Derek Jarman's garden. For keen foodies, Rye offers Scallop Week and Wild Boar Festival amongst its annual events or visit Chapel Down vineyard to experience some of the finest English wines.
The entrance to the apartment is accessed via the owners garden and leads you into an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a great space for relaxing. The small but well-equipped kitchen area has an induction hob, combination microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a slow cooker. The dining table and chairs for two is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast and the cosy lounge area has a comfy sofa, armchair and a Smart TV with a Blue ray player. At the opposite end of room is the super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). A door from the kitchen area leads into a small lobby where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes and a further door leads into the shower room with shower and WC.
Outside, there are two areas to enjoy the sunshine. Patio doors from the bedroom lead to a private decked area with a patio table and chairs and two sun loungers, at the front of the property is a small bistro table and chairs that overlook the owner’s garden, but is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and the evening sunshine. Guests are also able to use the owners petanque court (equipment provided) where the charcoal BBQ is located. There is private parking for one car.
