Delightful single-storey property sleeping two, situated next to the owner’s home in the village of Wedmore in Somerset, with pubs and shops within strolling distance.
This property is located in the village of Wedmore in North Somerset, just a few miles from the historic town of Glastonbury. Known for its links to the legendary King Arthur, with the town’s now ruinous abbey said to be his resting place, Glastonbury makes for a fascinating place for a day trip, with its quirky shops, numerous eateries, and its peaceful Chalice Well Gardens. Ten miles to the west of the property, the seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea has a wide sandy beach, and is in fact part of the second-longest strip of sand in Europe, ensuring there is always plenty of space to relax, sunbathe, and swim. Further afield, yet still within easy driving distance, there are plenty more places of interest including Cheddar Gorge and the cathedral city of Wells. This single storey property is located next to the owners’ home, and makes a great place for a quiet break. The main living area is the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has patio doors opening onto the garden. The lounge area is furnished with two comfortable armchairs from which guests can enjoy the TV/DVD, whilst the dining area has a table seating two. The kitchen area, meanwhile is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. The bedroom, which located just off from the living area, has a double bed and views over the garden, next to which is a shower room with shower cubicle and WC. Outside, guests have use of an enclosed garden which is partially set to lawn, and also offers a patioed area with garden seating and a BBQ, making it a lovely space to sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is parking for one car.
