This exuberant beachside retreat offers spacious and luxurious accommodation set within extensive private grounds on Holy Island across from Anglesey, where relaxation and seclusion.

Travelling across from Anglesey, Holy Island is a beautiful peninsula where the idyllic village of Rhoscolyn can be found. The sandy bay is a standout feature of the area, where people flock to relax on the shores to soak up the striking views or partake in waterborne activities such as sailing and sea fishing. For those looking to see more of the landscape and views towards the mainland, the Anglesey Coast Path is a superb option; stretching for 130 miles, there are some truly stunning sights along the route! Food on Anglesey is fantastically fresh, with options such as Menai Oysters in Llanfairpwll, the mouth-watering ice cream of Môn ar Lwy, and the delectable range of produce from Hooton’s Homegrown.

Upon entering the house, the hallway has walkways in two directions; turning left, you will walk into the hugely light and spacious kitchen/diner, where beautifully fitted units and elegant décor combine to create an area you’ll find hard to leave during your stay. Comprising of a huge fridge/freezer, a walk-in pantry, large electric ovens, gas hob, and a dishwasher, you’ll have all the amenities you could need for your stay, plus the island in the centre of the kitchen has eight seats around it, so you can enjoy breakfast or a morning coffee enjoying the idyllic views across the private garden. A utility room with a washing machine is also available should you need to wash any clothes. Through in the main dining space, there is a large table with ample seating to enjoy a home-cooked and hearty meal together. The window seats are ideal for sitting and gazing out onto the stunning bay, and there is also SkyTV and a log burner. Further into the open plan living space, you will find the study, perfect if you need a quiet space to do some reading or writing, with fantastic views on offer to inspire and relax you. The lounge area is spacious yet cosy, offering very comfortable seating around the beautiful open fire, as well as additional seating by the bay window. There is also an iPod dock and SkyTV here to keep everyone entertained. Continuing on through the lounge, you will come across two of the five bedrooms: straight ahead is the bunk room, again with wonderful sea views, whilst just past some steps is a king-size bedroom with views across the private garden, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. There is also an additional family bathroom close to these rooms, which features a walk-in shower, bath and WC. The third bedroom is located back towards the front of the house, turning right at the front door, and contains a double bed with views out across the bay, and an en-suite shower room with WC. There are two separate stairways to access the first floor, each used as private access for the two final bedrooms, the first of which is the ‘crow’s nest’ which has ladder steps in the hallway by the bunk room. Though more difficult to access than the other bedrooms, the views are well-worth the climb, and there is a comfortable double bed waiting for you at the top. The final bedroom is the master suite, accessed via a stairway at the end of the corridor leading from the lounge; the spacious dressing area offers ample room for any couple, whilst the super-king-size bed is perfectly positioned for you to wake up and enjoy the views out of the French doors. The en-suite is beautifully contemporary, comprising of a bath, separate shower and WC.

The outside space of this property is truly special. The extensive gardens surround the house, offering ample room to make the most of the landscape, including a patio area by the kitchen and another sheltered patio area across the lawn by the boat house. A third paved area with tables and chairs is also located just outside the bay window of the lounge, offering the perfect spot for al fresco dining on a summer’s eve. Take a walk through the gate in the wall, past the helipad and across the wooden bridge to the lookout point for more gorgeous views, where the sunset is truly spectacular. To access the beaches, head through the back gate of the house and pick left or right depending on which bay you want to explore. Access to the home is limited, with the last 200m across the beach only reachable by car at low tide. Please ensure you check tide times when staying. We recommend parking in the beach car park and walking across the final stretch so you’re free to come and go and less dependent on the tide!
