This beautiful barn was lovingly converted in 2018 situated on the owners arable farm. This family property offers a hot tub, wood burner and wonderful countryside, the perfect place to relax.
With numerous footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes allowing you to explore on foot or by bicycle: the fields, hedgerows, small Norman church and the delightful Rigsby Wood. Enjoy the local bird song and wildlife while taking in the great views stretching from the holiday cottage in the Lincolnshire Wolds to the coast and beyond. The nearby town of Alford is a popular market town with an abundance of shops and cafes to explore as is the market town of Louth. At Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl gardens you can watch hundreds of birds in their natural environment. Skegness, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe’s sandy beaches are within easy reach, with traditional amusements and seal sanctuary, a great family day out.
Stepping into the barn into the handy cloakroom, kick off your boots and coats and follow through into the sociable open-plan kitchen/living/dining space, with everything you need for a home away from home stay. The kitchen area boasts an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher also has a beautiful farmhouse table, the perfect place to come together over a wonderful meal. Off the kitchen is a handy pantry and utility room with washing machine and sink space. There is a comfy lounge area with ample seating to sink into infront of the wood burner (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD after a day exploring the Wolds. There are two lovely king-size bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. There is a twin bedroom with zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a king-size upon request). The family bathroom offers a bath with separate shower with space for a wheelchair if needed.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with hot tub on the patio area with seating and charcoal BBQ nearby. There is ample off-road parking.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
