This stylish cottage is conveniently located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in a rural location on the edge of the village of Roberstbridge, a pretty Sussex village with a local pub, shops and restaurant. Those looking to soak up the local culture can enjoy Battle Abbey, the site of William the Conquerors most famous victory in 1066 and which is just a five mile drive away or slightly further afield is Bodiam Castle, a picture perfect moated castle. Keen gardeners will love exploring nearby Pashley Manor Gardens and Great Dixter, and for families the beautiful Sussex coastline is just 10 miles away with gentle shelving beaches, water sports, cycle trails or just a simple stroll around the promenade.
Enter the cottage through the front door which opens into the warm and cosy hallway with space for dropping off muddy boats and coats. The hallways lead through to a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with views over the garden. The lounge area has a wood burner, two comfy sofas, an armchair and a Smart TV with freesat for catching up on your favourite programmes. There is a table suitable for seven people to dine at and the kitchen area has all the equipment you would expect, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
