Beach lovers are also well catered for with Instow, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! accessible from here, and the pretty coastal villages at Hartland and Clovelly are also well worth a visit. The nearby town of Barnstaple offers access to the Tarka Trail and cycle hire, and an array of amenities including the characterful Pannier Market, at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and Darlington Crystal.
