Culture lovers should head for the National Trust’s Chirk Castle and Erddig, while thrill seekers should make the most of the white water rafting and canoeing available locally.
Inside, the accommodation is spacious and open plan, with plenty of entertainment and reception rooms to occupy all guests. Prepare group meals in the large kitchen, which features tiled flooring, a central island and ample surface space. Once prepared, enjoy meals together in the sunny lounge/diner, which opens onto the patio through glass doors. At the other end of this room, plump sofas surround a brick inglenook fireplace with wood burner for enjoying cosy evenings in. While some guests relax in front of the TV, others can make use of the two games rooms, one of which features a snooker table and the other an Xbox. This property offers five individually decorated bedrooms.
