Take a stroll along the harbour or enjoy a refreshment on the harbour front. Take a boat trip to spot the famous Moray Firth Dolphins and stunning coastal scenery. There are great golf courses nearby and fabulous walks and cycle routes, allowing you to appreciate the unspoilt beauty of the area, or relax on one of the sandy beaches along the coastline. Stepping into the property you will be pleasantly surprised by the decor that suits its traditional style and seaside location. The hallway has space for coats and shoes and to the left of here you will find the cosy lounge, with comfy seating to relax in after a day out exploring the area, catch up with a programme or film on the TV/DVD or read one of the many books provided. On cooler evenings there is the lovely open fire to snuggle up in front of. Opposite the lounge is the well-equipped kitchen/diner, to prepare your favourite meals with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. A few steps and a low door lead up from the kitchen area to the rear patio. Enjoy your meals at the dining table whist taking in the breath-taking sea views and watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour. When your day is done take the cottage style stairs to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both boasting lovely sea views and spectacular sunsets highlighting the Caithness hills in the background, there is also a small study area in between the two rooms. The bathroom with shower over bath and WC completes the accommodation.
Stepping outside the cottage there are sea views from the front, where you can watch the activity in the harbour. The main access to the rear garden is by the gate at the side of the house, this is the perfect suntrap with a tiered south facing patio with table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining in the evening sunshine, and a summer house which can be a haven in the chillier weather.
