Nairn hosts a programme of family entertainment and major events including the Nairn Agricultural Show and the Highland Games. The town has two championship golf courses, museums, an array of quirky shops, friendly pubs and excellent restaurants. Nearby attractions include Cawdor Castle, Fort George, Landmark visitors centre, Aviemore Ski resort with the spectacular Cairngorm Funicular railway. The capital of Inverness offers excellent shopping and leisure facilities.
