Lovely cottage located in the Kings Yard area of Hawkshead, with village facilities right on your doorstep and a short drive to Lake Windermere.
Renowned for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, there are a number of National Trust properties in Hawkshead and visitors will love to wander around the pretty village streets. Just a few miles from the cottage is Lake Windermere, where there are plentiful opportunities for taking boat trips, which take visitors to Bowness, Ambleside, and Castle Wray, amongst other places of interest. Not to be missed is a visit to Claife Heights, with its purpose-built viewing platform affording unrivalled views of Lake Windermere and its surroundings.

There is a walled patio area at the front of the cottage with table and chairs and a bench by the back door which offer somewhere to sit and enjoy the sun at the end of the day, perhaps with a glass of wine or cup of coffee, and there is off-road parking for one car to the rear of the cottage.
