Situated just a stone’s throw from the vast expanse of soft golden sand at Camber, this holiday home is perfect for those wishing to disappear for long walks with the dog before breakfast. Camber is fantastic for the whole family as it boasts water sports facilities, safe swimming spots and wonderful dunes. Hop in the car for three miles and you’ll reach Rye, where you can pick up some freshly caught seafood or browse the cobbled streets for antique finds.
Inside, wooden flooring runs throughout the ground floor. Leave your coats, boots and flip flops in the useful cupboard before continuing through to the kitchen at the rear of the house. Open-plan to the dining room and lounge, this is a sociable space in which to prepare meals for the rest of the family. Here you’ll find a single oven and grill, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. The dining table beyond seats six, while a comfortable chair sits in sunlight next to French windows. There is also a small office which can also double up as a kids TV room. Upstairs, the lounge is spacious and inviting with the same coastal charm as the ground floor. The en-suite master bedroom is also located on the first floor, which boasts a king-size bed with velvet head and foot board with comfortable bed linen, TV and glamorous metallic bedside tables, the en-suite offers a shower and WC. On the second floor you’ll find two king-size zip-and-link bedrooms, which can make a twin if necessary. One room has a distinctly coastal feel with seascape wall hangings and a Smart TV with DVD player for everyone to enjoy, while the other adopts a more elegant, muted feel. These rooms share the family bathroom, which has a bath with shower and WC.
French doors open from the kitchen/dining room to a decked area, which gives way to a stylish pebbled garden. With comfortable rattan garden furniture and a BBQ, this is an inviting space in which to cook, eat and relax with the family at any time of day.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
