Large country house perfect for family get-togethers and celebrations, set in 75 acres with lake, river and woodland to explore. The perfect spot to discover North Wales countryside, coast and culture.

Idyllic 70 acre setting close to Bala with its cafes, pubs, shops, swimming pool and Wales’ largest natural lake. Enjoy sailing, a stroll around the lake or ride on the steam railway. Head to King Arthur’s Labyrinth or Harlech’s sandy beach, historic Castle, shops and cafes, not forgetting St David’s Golf Course. Being in Southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events alongside the breath-taking scenery. For the more adventurous there’s the National White Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Galn Y Gors Karting Park and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin.

This imposing and elegant house is perfect for family get-togethers and celebrations, oozing period charm and full of the little luxuries to make your stay a true delight. Enter the reception hall with snug area with Sky TV, sofas, feature fireplace and wood burner. To your right is a single bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC. Head through the hall to the lounge, with open fire, plenty of seating for up to 20 guests and feature seating in the picture windows. Walk through into the fabulous panelled games room with snooker table, air hockey, table tennis, pool table, TV and a sofa, fun for everyone. This room leads into the lakeside snug and out to the garden. Off the lounge is the stunning dining room with open fire, the dining table is flexible and laid for 24 guests, though can easily accommodate 28. There is a second dining room and library overlooking the lake with a table for up to ten guests, joining the dining room. Why not open the feature doors onto the garden terrace and let the outside in. The kitchen is well-equipped with three Range electric oven and hobs, double fridge, double freezer, fridge and two dishwashers. Head around to the utility room with electric oven and hob and washer/dryer, it is perfect for large scale catering. This room leads into the boot room and out to the grounds. Back into the reception hall, turn right and head down to the lower ground floor where you will find the 14-seater cinema. Continuing on the ground floor there is a lovely twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with en-suite wet room and WC, along the corridor there are two separate WCs, and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en suite shower room and WC. Head upstairs to the stunning first floor, with high ceiling, picture windows and access to the balcony. First is a spacious, super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request) with two additional single beds, corner sofa and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. On the right is a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is another large flexible room, with two super-king-size zip-and-link beds (that can be made up as 4 singles on request) with en-suite bathroom, bath, separate shower and WC. Moving along, there is a further twin zip-and-link (which can also be made up as a super-king-size on request) with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The master bedroom has an exquisite super-king size bed, seating area, TV, dressing area and stunning en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower, two sinks and WC. There is also a private balcony accessed from the seating area. Up again to the second floor there are four further bedrooms, two are super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made up as twins on request). There is a double bedroom and super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom which share the en-suite Jack and Jill shower room with shower and WC. There is also another stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Please note all bedrooms have a TV.

Heading outside you can relax in the private hot tub, enjoy a morning coffee at the table and chairs or explore the shared grounds with well-stocked borders, creative planting with the lake and river running through the grounds. Look out for the wildlife or relish in private fishing on the River Dee. You could even take advantage of the water sport on offer, which need to be organised with the owner. There is private parking for ten cars at the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
