This bright and attractive property is just a stone’s throw from Walworth Castle Hotel, where non-residents are welcome to enjoy the hotel facilities, including numerous bars and both formal and informal dining options. A drive away is the delightful cathedral city of Durham and also worth exploring is Northumberland. Conveniently situated close to both the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The North Yorkshire Moors and pretty towns like Richmond, it is a great base to discover the North of England. The North York Moors are just a short drive away, as are the popular historic cities of York This beautiful rural area is ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Among the many fantastic other local attractions are Raby Castle, Richmond, High Force. Be sure to take a trip to Barnard Castle for a look around the many shops and cafes, bars and restaurants.
On entering this modern cottage, you will find yourself in the relaxing and elegantly furnished lounge, an ideal room for relaxing in, complete with TV and DVD and with recently fitted patio doors leading on to the garden. Heading into the kitchen/diner, you will find a charming dining area, and an attractively designed kitchen which is fully equipped with integrated oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The tumble dryer is located on the porch. There are also four bedrooms on the ground floor. There’s a master double bedroom with TV and en-suite wet room with WC, one further double room, a twin room and a bunk bedroom with a single bunk over a double bed. You will find a family bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC, and a further separate WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor, which is a tasteful loft conversion, you will find a large open space with seating area, ideal for games. Exploring further, you will also find a twin room with en-suite bathroom complete with WC.
Stepping outside, you can relax in the generous walled garden which has plenty of garden furniture and a decked patio area as well as plenty of space for games or for dogs to run free. There is ample off-road parking available for four cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
