Often referred to as the Venice of the Cotswolds Bourton-on-the-Water is one of the more vibrant villages with a busy high street that sits on the banks of the river Windrush. The village is a great start for any stay in the Cotswolds with a variety of attractions. Take a step back in time and visit the Museum or simply take a wander around the Model Village, Birdland is just perfect for nature lovers. For a lazy afternoon why not take a picnic by the river, or try one of the many tea shops. The neighbouring villages are all worth a visit Lower Slaughter, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford to name but a few.
Drive through the gates into this private mews of honey coloured stone houses, the hallway offers a warm welcome, and is the perfect place to leave your coats and boots after a day exploring. Climb to the second floor and you will find a king-size bedroom with zip-and-link beds which can be made into a twin on request, at time of booking, along with an en-suite shower and WC.
Open the French doors and step outside onto the patio, the enclosed garden offers a seating area that is perfect for a supper outside or a lazy afternoon. There is private allocated parking for two cars.
