For those looking for an adventure during their stay, then you must discover Dartmoor which is renowned for its changing landscape, stunning views, deep wooded valleys with fast flowing rivers and rugged, wide open spaces. Also nearby is the cathedral city of Exeter, which combines high street shopping with places of interest such as the Roman wall and the ancient cathedral. For those looking for the coast you have plenty to choose from, to the north you have the beautiful beach of Croyde which offers a large sandy beach and to the south you have the dramatic red cliffs of Sidmouth.
