This purpose built single storey property is perfectly situated. Nestled in the picturesque Hampshire countryside, this is the ideal rural retreat yet within a short walk of the village pub. Why not take the children to Marwell Zoo, within walking distance of the property. If sight seeing is your preference you are just 5 miles from the historic city of Winchester, ancient capital of England under Alfred the Great. You could easily spend days exploring this famous city’s heritage, from the longest cathedral in Europe to King Arthur’s round table in the Great Hall of the Old Castle or follow the heritage trail and enjoy the riverside walks along the Itchen.
Birdwatch offers a spacious open plan living room kitchen diner. Boasting a wood-burner and TV, this is the perfect place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining table overlooks the lovely view in this peaceful setting. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds, both with en-suite shower and WC.
Through the double doors from the living room is the patio with a pretty planted border and gorgeous views of the countryside. It’s a fantastic space to relax and enjoy al fresco dining or a morning coffee and observe birdlife and deer, perhaps even catch a glimpse of the resident barn owl affectionately known as WOL. To the south side is an area of lawn and to the rear of the cottage wild flower meadow and trees. The property is approached by its own private driveway and there is parking and turning for two family cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
