This remarkable lodge has been furnished with all your comforts in mind, offering a private hot tub and welcoming your four legged friends, it is the perfect property for a relaxing retreat.
The property sits in its own enclosed grounds with enclosed chicken pen and is the perfect base from which you can explore the beautiful landscape of mid Devon. There are lots of pretty villages such as Bickleigh, which has the River Exe running through it and the popular Mill that offers shopping and artisan foods. The distinctive dark red soil is typical in this area, making it a scenic setting, ideal for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. Close by is the town of Tiverton, which has a pretty canal where you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip. Slightly further afield is the city of Exeter, known for its cathedral and its huge variety of shops and restaurants.
Stepping into this unique, stylish lodge, is the perfect place to leave your walking boots and step into the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen offers a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, a truly great space for preparing a family meal. The dining area is perfect to enjoy a meal together with seating for everyone. After a day of exploring the area, retire to the lounge area where you to sit back and relax amongst the cosy furniture, including sofa bed and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV or listen to your favourite songs using the Bluetooth speaker. At the end of the day head to one of the two stylish bedrooms, one king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and one double, both with TV, to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Also, on the ground floor is the attractively designed shower room with shower and WC. To the rear, completing this accommodation, is a small utility room with washing machine.
Heading outside is your very own decked area with private hot tub and garden furniture with countryside views. Here you will also find the charcoal BBQ, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. There is also ample off-road parking.
