These immaculately presented and wonderfully equipped barns are set on a small working farm in stunning surroundings on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors providing the perfect stay for cycling, family holidays or a relaxing couple’s retreat.
The property is in the picturesque village of Allerston with endless routes across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Dalby Forest. Dalby Forest is famous for its’ world championship mountain biking course and leisure pursuits. The forest is also host to the popular Forest Live events with many famous acts performing in open air concerts in stunning forest settings across the country. Also, perfectly located to explore popular market towns of Helmsley, Malton and Pickering or a base for the North Yorkshire Heritage Steam Railway for a stunning journey across the Moors to the bustling coastal town of Whitby. Families will not be stuck for something to fill their days with trips to a choice of museums, theme parks and trips to nearby quaint fishing villages.
You may be lucky enough to see the cows greet you as you drive down the tree lined drive passed the fields on your approach to the cottage. Accessing through a private entrance in to the bright and spacious open plan lounge/ kitchen/ diner area with underfloor heating for a really cosy welcome. Relax in front of the TV, put on a DVD or simply put your feet up and read a book while the light beams through the window. Prepare a nice home cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen while socialising in the open plan space and dine at the farmhouse style dining table. No need to waste time washing dishes- let the dishwasher do the hard work while you make the most of every minute in your home from home. Just off the lounge you can slope off to a wonderfully comfortable kingsize or twin bedroom. Also off the lounge is the modern shower room with WC.
Heading outside from the lounge in to a traditional walled courtyard with picnic tables and BBQ’s for Al Fresco dining and to enjoy the Yorkshire sun. There is also space to store your bikes- just ask the friendly owners who are on hand to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. There is ample parking.
