The splendid Ayrshire coastline and countryside is a paradise for walkers, bikers and hikers with numerous coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Golfers are also well catered with the championship courses of Turnberry and Troon. Enjoy a scenic boat trip round Ailsa Craig Island, catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Arran or enjoy a day trip to Ireland, from the nearby port of Cairnryan. Visit an array of historic castles including Culzean, Dundonald, Dean, Blairquhan, Kelburn, Dalquharran and Portencross.
