This property is located in the eastern region of the Lake District National Park, between the shores of Lake Windermere and the historic town of Kendal. Kendal makes a great destination for a day trip, with several shopping arcades and some stunning architecture, as well as two castles, and two museums. Heading in the opposite direction, visitors will come to the eastern shore of Lake Windermere and the lakeside town of Bowness, which is a great place to sign up for a range of watersports, or join one of the leisure craft which run up and down the lake. For those who want to enjoy the area around the lake from dryland, why not head for Fell Foot, an expansive lakeside park offering lakeside walks, plenty of space for picnics, and a children’s adventure playground.
The front door of this property opens at the top of a small flight of three stairs which lead into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This room has a lovey cosy feel thanks to the original period features, including the dark wood beams. A door from the living space opens onto the attractive shared garden, which consists of a patio seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ, beyond which there is a lawn offering panoramic views of the Lythe Valley. There is off-road parking for two cars.
