Set on the outskirts of the charming and historic market town of Richmond, home to an 11th century castle, restaurants, independent shops and welcoming pubs, you won't need to venture too far for entertainment Take a leisurely stroll down to the beautiful River Swale or visit the restored former Richmond Railway Station, home to a small cinema, microbrewery, gallery, café and artisan bakery. What's more, you'll reside just a few miles away from the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so guests looking to explore the surrounding countryside will be spoilt for choice when it comes to picturesque walking trails.
Looking out directly across the fields and the River Swale to Richmond Castle, the views from this cottage are unrivalled. Upon exploration of this stylish cottage you'll come across the sumptuous lounge, a lavish space complete with elegant velvet soft furnishings and wood burner ready to warm you up during colder evenings. Across the hallway sits the generous kitchen dining area, home to all the mod cons you could want and need during your getaway. The dining table which comfortably seats four offers a great view of the castle and beyond. When the day is done, retreat upstairs to take your pick from the two restful bedrooms and find the spacious family bathroom, complete with shower. The master bedroom boasts a super-king bed while the second bedroom is home to a king-size bed.
Outside, you'll find a pleasant and fully enclosed garden complete with furniture and a BBQ, so you can enjoy al fresco dining throughout the summer. To the front of the cottage sits a bench where you can enjoy your morning coffee as you take in priceless views of the castle, the best seat in the house for the annual firework display at the Castle every November.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
