Description

Stunning farmhouse set on a working farm with hot tub, enclosed garden and views towards Bala and its lake. Perfect to relax, enjoy activities and discover North Wales countryside, coast and culture.

Walk to the local pub or drive to Bala, just a few miles down the road, offering cafes, pubs, shops, cinema, swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy boating, stroll around the lake or ride on the steam railway and embrace the view. For the more adventurous there’s the National White-Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Galn Y Gors Karting Park and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin. Head to King Arthur’s Labyrinth or Harlech’s sandy beach, historic Castle, shops and cafes, not forgetting St David’s Golf Course. Being in Southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events in this breath-taking scenery.

Drive through the farm to this imposing stone house, up the steps and into the porch with space for your boots. The well-equipped kitchen/diner has a range style electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. If you decide to eat in, relax on the comfy sofa in the kitchen and ponder the recipe books or go through to the dining area flooded with natural light. The dining table has plenty of space for everyone to gather round, enjoy a meal, maybe let the outside in and open the French doors, here you will also find a second fridge and a washing machine. Back through the kitchen you will find the lounge, with the inglenook fireplace and wood burner taking centre stage surrounded by comfortable sofas, where you can relax and watch TV. Following on from the lounge, you will find a cosy snug, settle in to the sofa, watch a film on TV, read a book or play games. Up the stairs to the first floor, there is a shower room, with shower and WC, with natural light flooding through the sun tunnel. There are three spacious bedrooms all with lovely views, two doubles (one with a TV), and one twin.

At the rear of the property is a paved patio with private hot tub, perfect to unwind after a full day out. The walled garden has grassy banks, gravelled areas and paving to enjoy al fresco dining with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and lovely views over the farm, rolling countryside and towards Bala lake. There is private parking for three cars at the property. Please note this farmhouse is located on a working farm with cattle, sheep and horses, although your privacy is assured.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
