Further afield are the superb beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe or enjoy the splendour of Dartmoor and Exmoor. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities, why not hire bikes or take a trip on the pretty Tarka Train Line providing easy access to both Barnstaple and Exeter. Other attractions include The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Cobbaton Combat Museum.

A walk across the meadow is a fenced wildlife pond with cosy shelter. Please note children must be accompanied. There is off-road parking for two cars.
