Walkers and outdoors enthusiasts will also be in their element with Roadford Lake, offering fishing, walking and sailing activities, just a short drive away, the wild beauty of Dartmoor National Park just also short drive, and only slightly further Bodmin. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Launceston Steam Railway, the historic maritime city of Plymouth, Tintagel Castle, and numerous National Trust properties, and the market towns of Holsworthy, Launceston and Okehampton.
