Fishermen can enjoy the River Severn, only 200 meters away, with day and week permits available in Ironbridge. You can enjoy numerous walks in the Ironbridge Gorge, also on your doorstep is the Shropshire Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys offers even more opportunities for walking, cycling, golf and hang gliding, to mention just a few. Visit museums, galleries and National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston or head to the historic towns of Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth or Shrewsbury. There is so much to see and do.
Enter via the kitchen, flooded with natural light and views over the top paddock. There is the useful utility with washing machine, fridge/freezer and space to hang up your coats and kick off your boots. After dinner, relax on the sofa with a warming wood burner effect electric fire should the evenings turn chilly, whilst watching your favourite programme or film on the TV/DVD.
Outside there is a private garden and patio with table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or al fresco dining. Listen to birdsong, watch the wildlife and stargaze on a clear night. Walk up to the top paddock and embrace the fabulous views over the rolling Shropshire Hills. There is private parking at the property for two cars and a secure lockable workshop is available if you need to store bicycles, motorcycles, fishing tackle or even kayaks.
