For a more peaceful day, take in one of the many towns or villages of the National Park, Hay-on-Wye famed for its weekly market and May festival, Crickhowell a small Georgian town nestled within the Usk Valley and Abergavenny a bustling market town with Roman origins considered to be the gateway to Wales and the National Park. For foodies and festival goers there’s an all year-round calendar with something to suit all tastes.
