The 250 year old gate lodge is conveniently situated on the A352 which is the main access route between the riverside Saxon market town of Wareham and villages of Bovington and Wool, home to some of Dorset’s much loved attractions from the Tank Museum to Monkey World. Located just off the Wareham to Wool road it is an ideal retreat for an artist/writer to hide away and be creative, as it is located within 2.5 acres of woodland. An attractive Purbeck stone terrace wraps sympathetically around the rear of the property. There is also a large summerhouse situated on the paddock lawn area where deer roam freely from the woodland, (summer house will be open to visitors from spring 2022). Ample parking on the private driveway and under cover in the high car barn ideal for boats
