Set in a secluded and picturesque village, ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. This lovely traditional and cosy cottage makes a fantastic holiday base.
The delightful village of Kettlestone dates back to the Domesday Book and makes an ideal base for exploring this lovely part of Norfolk. Nearby is the bustling and historic market town of Fakenham, home of the Fakenham Racecourse and the Thursford Show. The town also offers a choice of pubs and restaurants, as well as a cinema, flea market, Corn Hall and a popular museum. Among nearby attractions are the glorious Pensthorpe Natural Park, Binham Priory, RSPB Titchwell Marsh, Blakeney Point, the Holkham Estate and Stody Lodge Gardens. The Norfolk coast is just a short drive away, and there are plenty of towns and villages to discover, including Burnham Market, Great Massingham, Hunstanton and King’s Lynn.
Enter into the porch of this traditional and cosy cottage and arrive into the lounge area, which has a sofa, and two arm chairs, a TV and a wood burner so you can cosy up with loved ones on a chilly winters evening and have some quality family time. The kitchen area and access to the enclosed garden is accessed from the lounge. The kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Leading from the kitchen is the separate WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms. The first is a double with and the second is a twin (which can be made into a super king with zip and link beds on request). Completing the accommodation is the shower room with a double walk in shower and WC.
There is a rear enclosed garden with a table and four chairs should you wish to soak up the sun and enjoy some al fresco dining. Private parking for one car is to the front of the cottage.
