Description

Semi-detached converted former Clydesdale working horse stables. Lovingly restored with exposed stonework, beams and stunning oak lintel over the cosy log burner. Surrounded by the stunning Eden Valley countryside.  Set at the foot of Cross Fell, the highest point in the Pennines.

Whether you are looking to explore the Eden Valley, The Lake District, have an action-packed week or just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the perfect place to stay. There is a network of walking paths from your door, this area is a haven for walking and cycling. Just a short drive from the market towns of Penrith and Appleby browse the small independent shops, enjoy a coffee or visit The Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, family theatre, play area, pottery, shops and cafes.

Entering the property, you will instantly notice the character and history of this building. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a cosy wood burner, TV and doors which open out onto the South facing patio and garden from the dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, an under-counter fridge/freezer and microwave. From the lounge head up to the first floor where you will find a double and twin bedroom with a family bathroom which features a shower over the bath and WC.

There is a beautiful large shared informal south facing garden and patio for you to sit out and enjoy, although this is not a private garden, it is huge and there is always a spot you can enjoy alone.
