This inviting, three-bedroom, single-storey log cabin offers five guests an exceptional experience. Pull on your walking boots and head off along the Offa’s Dyke Path, which runs close by, or take a trail through the National Trust’s Begwyns. Hire mountain bikes or canoes in the area too. Spend afternoons pottering about in Hay-on-Wye, 4 miles from the lodge. Browse in the many bookshops here, dine out, stop for a cup of tea and visit the famous Hay Literary Festival, which is held in the town every May and attracts a host of well-known authors.
Enter this welcoming and spacious wooden, rural retreat to find it offers all the comfort you require for your Welsh stay. Make yourselves at home in its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can bask by a crackling wood burner on chilly evenings and throw open the French doors on warm mornings.
