It’s around a 2 mile walk from the visitor centre to pick up maps and local information. Local pubs can be found in Libanus, 2 miles, and Sennybridge 5 miles from the house, while the attractive market town of Brecon, 6.5 miles away, is a pleasant place to explore with a collection of shops and restaurants.
Shed the coats and boots in the entrance hall of this traditional farm worker’s cottage, and step into the fantastic country kitchen full of original features from the flagstone floor to the atmospheric beams. Enjoy family meals cooked on the range oven, at the circular pine table with views over the garden, and get the kids helping out with the washing up in the Belfast sink.
