Resting alongside the River Wye with striking views of the limestone cliffs this bustling town is steeped in history and a great base for exploring the Wye Valley and has a good selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The towns castle is the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain here you can relax in the grounds.

Visit Chepstow Racecourse or for keen walkers The Offa's Dyke starts just a few miles away at Sedbury Cliffs where you can follow the trail across to the Devils Pulpit and enjoy the views onto Tintern Abbey.

The Forest of Dean for mountain biking and canoeing The Brecon Beacons for traditional towns and stunning scenery Newport Cardiff Bristol and Bath are also great for a lazy day shopping.

This charming three storey town house sits behind electric gates within a small development of contemporary homes.

Step inside the hallway which offers a space for coats and muddy boots along with a separate WC.

Double doors lead from the hallway into a spacious lounge a place where you can relax after a day exploring catch up or simply enjoy a movie on the TV.

Further along the hallway an open-plan kitchen/diner is the heart of the house where you can gather and enjoy drinks before supper the kitchen is cool and contemporary offering an electric oven and hob microwave American style fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine.

A large table and chairs in the dining area with sofa and TV is ideal for a celebration supper or just to keep the chef of the group company.
