Nearby Sherborne is rich in history and home to an Abbey, which dates to Saxon times, two castles and renowned schools. Dorset’s county town, Dorchester, is 11 miles to the south and has two cinemas, plus a long high street lined with numerous coffee bars, shops and eateries.
