Perched on a gentle rise overlooking Esthwaite Water, this property enjoys wide panoramic views of the lake and beautiful surrounding countryside. Only half a mile south of Hawkshead, you are in the perfect location for easy access to excellent village shops, pubs, and restaurants, while also benefiting from a peaceful and relaxing spot where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery and wildlife. Windermere and Ambleside are just a short drive from the property and are great places to enjoy browsing the shops and perhaps stocking up on picnic supplies before hiring a boat on the water. Or, hop on board one of the leisure cruises which run up and down Windermere at a relaxing pace. Coniston, only a short drive away, is known for its rich history and the interesting Ruskin Museum which takes visitors on a journey through the village’s past. A little closer to your retreat, you can visit family attractions at the famous home of Beatrix Potter, go fishing on Esthwaite Water, or enjoy the forest paths and bike trails at Grizedale, making the location enjoyable for couples and families alike.

The main bathroom with a shower over the bath is located directly opposite the double room.
Outside, you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy some al fresco dining. There is a lawned garden area with seating for you to relax; a great spot to catch some sun, or the stunning sunsets which Fell Foot enjoys. There is also a garage with ample room for the storage of bikes.
